Two Choices
-written by Jeremy Gloff

THE STORY:
The age old conflict of companionship vs. freedom.

THE LYRICS:

I have two choices
My pillow or you
But at this moment neither one will do
I notice the liking to the
New man that you’ve found
Someone different
To wrap your arms around

And it was me who said
That we both need to be free
That was when your
Arms were wrapped around me
I run from affection
But for you it is shown
Words become lies
When you find yourself
In a bed sleeping alone.

I have two choices
Get even or let go
Cause when you rub my stomach
All of my weaknesses show
And then you breathe on my neck
And then you play with my hair
Well I like it too much
And I don’t think that I want to share

And it was you who said
That we always take things too fast
Your body laid on top of mine
The night before last
Well I hope that his face
Does not scratch you like mine
Cause he can shave but I
Can never rewind.

I have two choices
As I distance myself from you
There’s still stains on my sheets
From the first time we were though
And I was me who said that
I needed to be free
Easy to say when your arms
Were wrapped around me.
