The Story:
Shortly after high school my first "official" release was with a band called Billie. Billie was basically three friends and me either writing silly (and often mean) songs about people we knew, or doing bad cover versions. Songs include a cover of Poison's "Talk Dirty To Me", a cover of Donna Summer's "Love To Love You Baby" (renamed "Love To Love Bjork I believe?") and a pair of raunchy songs I wrote about straight boys ("Fritz" and "Jeff"). There was also a punk rock rant called "Taryn" about a girl my friend didn't like. We called ourselves Billie after Adrianne Barbeau's character in the 80s cult-horror classic "Creepshow".
