JEREMY GLOFF ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER
14th RELEASE FOR
UPCOMING "21st Century Love Songs" ALBUM
Musician Jeremy
Gloff’s 16th studio album "21st Century Love Songs" will have a
Square One sponsored album release party at The RITZ Ybor in Tampa, FL
on Saturday, November 14th, 2009. To launch the album, Jeremy
Gloff will be performing in the Royal Room of The RITZ Ybor as
part of Square One's Magnum Opus event. While Gloff's previous album
"1987" celebrated 1980s dance music, "21st Century Love Songs" moves
the songwriter/musician into a more serious and contemplative direction.
"21st Century Love Songs" can be a described as Gloff's
most serious collection of songs yet. Gloff wraps his
dark and catchy melodies around lyrics that deal with depression,
suicide, cynicism, and sociological observation. Gloff describes
"21st Century Love Songs" as "an album that gives voice to people who
are disappointed, skeptical of happy endings, but ultimately hopeful."
"21st Century Love Songs" features performances from twenty
guest musicians all culled from Tampa's rich and diverse music
community. Guests include the legendary Ronny Elliot, Christopher
Tolan (former Beuvilles), Drew Cutler (former Lush Progress), Melissa
Fair (Irritable Tribe Of Poets), Pat Maue (former Grey AM), Jimmy Reese
(former Tomorrow), Hunter Oswald (The Sheaks), Scott Harrell (Nessie),
Matt Slate (King Of Spain), Ken Spivey, Becca Nelson, Michele Aguis,
Travis Brown, Tom Kersey (former Lush Progess), Okesene Tilo, James
Ratliff, Dallas Swoveland, Heather Songster, Thor Eric Paulson, and
Leah Connolly (DJ Mane). The album features songwriting
collaborations with Jimmy Reese, Pat Maue, Shadrick Ferrer, and a song
by musical legend and friend Jill Jones.
Jeremy Gloff is an
independent musician who has self-released 16 albums since 1993.
The RITZ Ybor is located at
1503 East 7th Avenue in Tampa, FL. Doors for Magnum Opus open to the
general public of all ages a 7pm. Jeremy Gloff will perform at
9pm in the Royal Room. There will be a $1.00 optional donation at
the door.
