BEST GENEROUS SERVER – Jeremy Gloff Cappy’s Tampa Palms
The summer shootings at Orlando nightclub Pulse were horrific beyond description, and its effects were wide-reaching. On June 23, Tampa songwriter Jeremy Gloff did his best to put a dent in the hurt by convincing his employer to donate 10 percent of sales during a shift to a fund benefiting victim Jeff Rodriguez. Gloff would also donate all of his tips from the shift to his friend. The result? A packed house plus an almost $4,000 donation to a GoFundMe campaign. Do-gooders are everywhere, and it’s amazing to watch them do their thing.
