Don't Forget Her
-written by Jeremy Gloff

THE STORY:
A story told too many times. But remember the love...
INFLUENCES:
In the 80s artists weren't afraid to throw ballads right in the middle of their dance albums. Shannon's "Love Goes All The Way" starts off bangin' then slows down right at track two. While I wasn't as ballsy on this album I couldn't resist a couple slow jams towards the end.
THE LYRICS:
You better hold her hand
You can’t take her with you
You better kiss her face
She’s not going with you
Have you ever loved somebody who’s a lot like sand
A million fragments slipping through your hands
You can scream and scream but she can’t hear
She’ll disappear
Chorus:
If you’re checking in your mail box one more time (don’t forget her)
If you’re singing to the radio one more time (don’t forget her)
If you’re putting on her favorite jeans one more time (don’t forget her)
Don’t forget that you loved her
You watched her walk away
You won’t see her again
You smell her in your room
She won’t be there again
She’s like storm water she’s flowing in and out of lives
Eroding everything in her sight
You can scream and scream
There’s nothing you can do
‘Cause she can’t hear youRepeat Chorus
'Til you acknowledge all the pain that she put you through
You'll never move on like you need to
I'm telling you baby one more time
Don't forget that you loved her
(Remember the lines on her face...)
