Able To Move

THE STORY:
When a friendship crash-landed in November 1994 I was devastated.  Come 1998...four years and ten lifetimes had passed.  The time had come to move on.

THE LYRICS:

My alarm wakes me up sometimes
Since I live without you
And the sun disappears sometimes
Since I live without you
Caught in the moment
Voices rise
Holes of the stomach
To save stars of the eyes
Look for a car it won't go by
I hope you meet a different me
Before we die

CHORUS:
Cause I never let you breathe
In time the questions start to leave
And I've put to rest my love
I'm finally able to move

Electricity decrease
Darkness never helped me live without you
Ringing telephone decrease
Silence never helped me figure out you
Flashback of an angry year
Easy to scream but difficult to hear
Mr. Selfish/Mr. Alienation
Love's not a friend of suffocation's

Chorus repeats

...and it can be
so blinding sometimes
It's gone but your smell
It comes back to me sometimes
And it smells like crying
Outside...today

Winter makes me sad sometimes
Since my life without you
Windy nights... little sleep
Sometimes dreams about you
I used to shiver when you'd speak
You can't save a soul that's playing hide-and-seek
No need to figure out what's true
I couldn't love myself
So how could I love you?
