Jeremy Gloff’s 15th studio album "1987" is scheduled to
have a Square One sponsored album release party and performance at
Crowbar in Ybor City on Saturday, September 20th as part of SoundFX:
Live with an official US release on September 23rd, 2008 through
Lossless Records. "1987" has been described as a brilliant up-tempo
collection of 13 songs which finds Jeremy immersing his sound in
1980’s inspired dance music. The debut single, the pulsating
"Lights On" was released in March 2008.
The “1987” album release party will find Jeremy Gloff
performing album tracks in full-scale theatrical production numbers.
Select performance numbers will be collaborations with Okesene Tilo of
Square One Florida, Scott Bentley of the Bentley Hair Salon,
photographer Ryan Prado, DJ Una Slim, local fashion designer Amber Cox
and Rat Soap Studios. Crowbar is located at 1812 N 17th St in the Ybor
City district of Tampa, FL. Doors open 9pm with a $7.00 admission
charge, ages 18 and up.
Jeremy Gloff is an independent musician, writer and producer who has
self-released 15 albums since 1993. Tracks from his 2001 “America
Is Lonely Tonight” album were featured in the documentary Hooked.
Jeremy Gloff currently writes the very popular Dear Gloffy column for
REAX Magazine. “1987” was produced, arranged, composed and
performed by Jeremy Gloff.
